There are no hidden fees and no registration fees.
The care market is difficult to navigate, especially when trying to compare pricing and services.
AtHome keeps it simple.
The rate you agree to pay is the total you will pay.
We offer a transparent costing structure, with a low fee charged at the point of the invoice which you agree to upfront.
Carers are paid directly by you via an invoice through our platform.
Remember, a self-employed carer is directly responsible for their own costs such as holiday pay, insurance, training, national insurance, training, and taxes.
AtHome will invoice you separately to the carer, but the total fee will remain the same as you have agreed.
You do not pay us in addition to the agreed rate.
A carer will ALWAYS be shown the rate they will receive (their pay excluding our fee), so there is no confusion on their rate of pay.
What does our fee cover?
Our fee covers things such as:
The initial setup and posting of your job and requirements on the AtHome portal.
The time and cost required to identify and attract potential carers to register with AtHome.
Undertaking all the required checks to ensure carers meet the eligibility requirement for our portal.
Access and ongoing use of the portal for both carers and clients enabling you to directly rota, check-in and monitor the care schedule of the carer you engage.
Provision of recommended pay rates and guidance on agreeing to the terms of an assignment with a carer.
Supply of carer agreement for you to use for each assignment.
Access to a payment function on our portal for carers to raise invoices and for you to pay your carer.
Responding to general queries or concerns and providing new introductions as required.
Self-employed carers and companions on the AtHome portal will be engaged by and work directly for you, the client and you will be able to manage all requirements directly on the portal.
